Jenny Kennedy’s holistic approach to yoga integrates an alignment-based practice, which combines all elements of yoga including asana, pranayama, meditation and mantra. She motivates her students to embody the peace, strength, interconnectedness, health and wellness that yoga can bring into life.
Jenny is a joyful, heart-centered and authentic teacher. Jenny makes everyone comfortable and creates a peaceful, healing, and instructive atmosphere in her classes. I consistently find myself loose, relaxed and smiling at the end of her classes.
Jenny's yoga is a complete experience from your first pose to namaste. The class I take is for all levels. We laugh, talk and maybe shed a tear or two. If Jenny sees that your pose is incorrect she will help you so next time you are lined up correctly. She would hate to see you hurt yourself. A special treat during your savasana is Jenny's beautiful voice. If you’re lucky, she may even use her crystal bowls to help with meditation and chakra healing.
Jenny is kind, insightful and funny. She often says exactly the right thing in class for the mood or moment. She has the voice of an angel and sings you out of savasana. I love taking Jenny’s classes because I always get a good workout, hear something that will help me move through the rest of my day, and feel a sense of community even when I don’t know anyone else in the room.
